Amazon Web Services Management

Our experience has been shaped by delivering cloud capabilities to a global publishing automation technology company with big - we mean real big - clients. Rather than work with local data centers, we shifted to working mostly with Amazon Web Services, specifically the Amazon Elastic Computing Cloud. While many companies use Amazon EC2 for product testing and temporary deployment, we've built out entire networks of servers delivering numerous production capabilities to a global work force.
Amazon EC2’s simple web service interface allows you to obtain and configure capacity with minimal friction. It provides you with complete control of your computing resources and lets you run on Amazon’s proven computing environment. Amazon EC2 reduces the time required to obtain and boot new server instances to minutes, allowing you to quickly scale capacity, both up and down, as your computing requirements change. Amazon EC2 changes the economics of computing by allowing you to pay only for capacity that you actually use.
Here are examples of specific types of activities our company has engaged with:
- Amazon Storage Gateway planning, deployment, and management.
- Data storage within the Amazon S3 system.
- Deployment of Amazon EC2 machines, both Windows and Linux.
- Configuration and deployment of Amazon VPC.
- Amazon based Terminal Servers
- Amazon based Active Directory Domain Controllers and Networks.
- Amazon to site Virtual Private Networks
- Amazon Security Group and Network Routing.
- Amazon IAM Management and Authentication
- Amazon snapshots, data backup, and recovery.

Among the manu uses of Cloud Computing is the ability to virtualize legacy applications. For example, leveraging Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud systems against outdated business management applications we can extend the life cycle of these products. What we provide is deployment, management, and support for Windows (and Linux) Application Servers inside the AWS Elastic Compute Cloud.
